my tiny book

Just to let you all know that I have a tiny book in the series eileen tabios is doing using her very own HOD process . It all goes to a good cause, so you might like to inundate her with orders. I met Eileen in New York, by the way, at the launch of her Marsh Hawk Press book. A good time was had by all. Here is part of the announcement: Meritage Press (MP) is pleased to announce the fourth title in its series of Tiny Books that aligns poetry with fair trade and economic development issues affecting Third World countries. MP's Tiny Books utilize small books (1 3/4" x 1 3/4") made in Guatemala by artisans paid fair wages, as sourced by Baksheesh, a fair trade retailer. All profits from book sales then will be donated to Heifer International, an organization devoted to reducing world hunger by promoting sustainable sources of food and income. I`ve been in Trois-rivière for just over a week at the poetry festival . I am amongst francophone poets with my very bad French but everyone is forbearing. They tell me they love my accent, which I find hard to believe. Truly, an Australian accent is attractive? I don`t think so. But it is a great festival. It's quite hot here, unseasonably, I'm told. So much for all the layers of clothes that are taking up room in my suitcase.
